HYDRAULIC FACILITY MANAGEMENT AS PART OF THE INTEGRATED WATER RESOURCE MANAGEMENT IN THE AGUEGUE COMMUNE

Abstract:
Access to drinking water is a crucial need for the health of populations. In a context of population growth, households’ water needs becoming higher the water resources that the district of Aguéguésposess could come up to those different needs. But the issue of drinking water supply remains forever. The objective of the present work is to make an inventory of used water springs and the way they are managed in Aguégués. A methodology based on the documentary research and the works on the field allowed us to be aware that not only the access to drinking water is not ensured permanently but also the way of management of springs of water generate sanitary and environmental problems. The achievement of a strategy for a best management of water springs could alleviate people difficulties.
